Default ed7 project plans

I have a 91 ed7. After I swapped in a b18a1/b16 trans, I just don't think its enough for me. So after about 2 months of searching and looking for a swap (dude, hondas have way to damn many options to choice from hahaha) I decided to buy a first gen b16a+lsd trans. Now a lot of you are saying, that's stupid but hang on lol. I'm gonna take the ls swap out, tear it all the way down. Take the b16 and strip it all the way down and make a ls/vtec with a lsd trans. I'm going to take the p30 pistons and full head off the b16 and use it on the ls. I'm going to have the crank balanced, rods shot peened for my piece of mind and arp rod bolts. Going with the GE coversion with arp head studs.

Also people are proll saying, isn't that gonna cost you more doing it that way? And its not. A b16 lsd trans sells for $1000-1200. I'm only paying $2100 for everything shipped. For me to go find a b16 head (normaly no distributor and don't know the condition of the head) is gonna be $500, dizzy is $200, and the pistons are $200-300. $1900-2200 and hope everything works. So its gonna cost the same amount but guess what, I then have a block, rods, crank ect... To sell to make some money back .

So I total everything out to be done the most right way without buying forged stuff and sleeving the block, $2900 and some change and that's also with type r water pumps/oil pump. So $3000 ill have a faster (not a reliable) then a gsr also with a lsd short geard trans. Also, the car only weighing 22xxlbs with interior, it should hold its own. I do plan on running some crower 402 or 403 cams with blox intake manifold, skunk2 throttle body and a narrow header into a 2 1/2 exhaust. Then take it down to kaizenspeed and have them work their tuning magic on it haha. I think with the crank being balanced, arp rod bolts and shot peened, it should hold up to 8k revs. I know my stock ls does 7200rpms and has had no problems, I can squeeze 800 more out of it with alittle love. still debating though if I should just go forged internals of run the ls/b16 stuff.

Just so you guys know, its not gonna be a daily driver. Its gonna be my weekend racer at most so I'm not totaly worried about it lasting 200k miles.

The motor swap should be here towards the middle of next month and ill add to this thread then.
