Default ECU question

currently i have a b18c1 in my hatch but i dont have an ECU for it. I prolly wont get mines for 2 weeks. I need my car to drive around from work and other places. I was wondering can i use an LS ECU or an EX one ? If so which one will be better for daily driving?

it depends on what year hatch you have, but if its a 92-95, then you can use an ex ecu, although its not recomended. The ex (p28) ecu isnt mapped for a twin cam motor. (i.e. fuel, ignition, etc)

He right you can use what ever ECU plugs up to it. I just wouldn't reccomend driving long on it and definently don't drive hard.
