Default Ecu help

Hello there I was wondering if I should use a p28 or p72. I have both and what is in the car now is the p28. I am putting a b16 into the car. What are the pros and cons on the two different ecus. Thanks

P72 can control IAB (the dual-stage GSR IM) and has a knock board, which you'll probably disable anyhow.

The key with either one is to ensure that you're tuned properly.

Will a P13 and a P28 plug into the same harness, meaning are the sockets the same on both ecu's?

If they are both OBD1, yes.
However, most conversion harnesses are missing the EGR wiring the P13 needs.

The p28 can run a p72 map and control the iab's without the knock board
http://www.rdtech-online.com P28 spec ecu running p72 map with iab control and necessary wiring.
