Default Which ECU? B18

I have a B18 (non-vtec) the ECU I'm using is out of a 92 integra LS, is there another ECU I can use, because the 92LS one has fuel shut off at like 6800RPM or something, my motor doesnt start making power until 4K RPM. Any suggestions? Will a GSR ECU work? should I get one out of a 94-99LS?

Thanks,
Dustin

You can use either. I believe the 94-95 is a P75, but I'm not sure what the 92-93 units are. Could be the same.

The GSR ECU will work, but the car will run like crap, and you'll get MIL codes. (check engine light)

Even the 94+ LS ecu has a fuel cut at 7k RPM +/- 200 rpm.

If you want a higher redline, you'll need to chip your ECU.

To get higher redline (as the B18C-EJ1 said), you'll need to have your ECU rechipped. I ran a 94 LS ECU (all 92-95 LS ECUs are basically the same) with a XS Engineering chip and GUDE chip (I have both and sell both as well) and both have redlines of 8000 or more. Also the fuel mapping is slightly better than stock but the point is I could take my B20 past 7800 if I wanted to.
