Re: which ecu??? (Peagreenhatch)

the mugen chip i can redline at 9200!! will i need to upgrade anything else for this?? like fuel injectorsor anything? that would big big ass power!!

Re: which ecu??? (h22dx)

no, not a mugen program.

get the STOCK h22 program
or get an OBD2/1 (if you are converting) h22 prelude ecu.

you have no need for a mugen program.

and just because you could rev that high dosent mean you will make power.
you would need cams, valves, valve springs, retainers and some tuning for 9200rpms.

just get the stock ecu/program for the h22.

Re: which ecu??? (h22dx)

OBDI P13 with a Spoon or stock program best there is. second best is a GSR ECU + VAFC, then chipped P28.

so get a spoon chip for the stock obd 1? can i put that in myself? what will the chip do?

Re: which ecu??? (h22dx)

no
not a spoon chip

let me explain somthing, those chips are for modified cars, higher revlimit, diffrent vtec crossover, etc

you have a BONE STOCK motor.
you need the BONE STOCK ecu.
get the prelude ecu.

and chipping an ecu cant be done by yourself unless you have a rom writer and the entire program.

spoon programs are very streetable programs. they are designed to be used for amateur racing. all have more aggressive maps then stock, no speedlimiter and fix few dead spots found on some motors. fuel economy doesn't suffer nor does engine damage occur if the ecu is used in proper manner.

I offer DIY kits for $39 shipped which require you to solder in new parts. thats all.
