Default Do i need a gsr cat?

Im not sure but I think I need a gsr cat. Im swapping a b18c motor into my '93 ex coupe. I got the motor in, but it doesnt look like my stock cat will fit on to the gsr header. Do I have to get a gsr cat? Also, if i do get a gsr cat, will it bolt up to the rest of the stock civic exhaust? thanks.

if you use this header and cat it will bolt right up. This is what I had on my car. I have a b18c. The header is longer, the cat is just stock usdm. I will sell you just the bottom of the header if thats all you want for cheap.

i have the same year civic as you except mine is a hatchback and ill tell you FOR SURE that you need a gsr cat converter..(the diameter is different for civics than integras)
not just that but you need a gsr exhaust (top and bottom piece) b-pipe and exhaust as well..dont worry itll bolt right up and the hooks match up...
im having a little bit of trouble fitting my exhaust tho...ill figure that out later...
also if youre trying to get the car ref'd you should get an obd2 cat converter w/o2 sensor...
good luck

You dont need all new ****....

My setup was stock GSR header with a GSR high flow cat then i had an exhaust shop cut my stock exhasut flange off and weld up one that would bolt to the high flow cat cost me 50$

Anyways the cat cost me somewhere between 70-100 i cant remeber but there were two version and i got the nice one lol. I still have it and it only had like 5k on it if you want it i could find it and we could work out a price.

Just go to a muffler shop and get a custom flanged cat made that will correctly bolt to your header and exhaust.
