Default Dist/Ecu question

CAN I USE A DIST. OFF A SINGLE CAM 1.5L ON A B16A1? AND IS THE B16A1 AN OBD 0 OR AN OBD 1 CAUSE A SHOP TOLD ME ITS AN OBD 0 IM NOT SURE IF HE IS JUST TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF ME THANKS

The D series distributors won't fit B motors. Most B16A motors are non-OBD although there was a rare version of it in the 92-93 JDM Integra XSi that is grey plug OBDI and still a B16A, not A2. The only thing you can do is use the non-OBD SiR distributor on the non-OBD B16A or a 90-91 Integra LS will work. The LS requires hacking a leg off to make it mount properly and it limits your range of timing adjustment but it does work.
