Default D15b7 d16y7 help??

so I got this d15b7 engine pretty cheap and I’m planning to use it in my civic that has a d16y7. I’m going to use exhaust manifold from the y7 but intake manifold from the b7. I’m planning to use the engine harness off the b7. I understand I’m going from obd2 to obd1. My question is if I run the obd1 ecu will my car run fine? Or am I better off using the obd2 ecu with a harness?? Anything helps.

Just use the y7 harness and obd2 to obd1 harness and figure out what you wanna do with the crank sensor.

So your saying use the obd1 ecu with a jumper harness to fit my y7 harness?

Yes it's easier that way and you can use the b7 or any other manifold without worrying about the second o2 sensor plus you can chip the obd1 ecu later if you want. The motor mount of the upper driver side will need to be changed out also. Easy swap.
