crx with a type r?>.....
does any one know what the work is that is involved with swapping a type r into a crx, i look everywhere and cant find a person actually talk about the work it took for them to swap that engine if anyone knows thanx
You need B-series mount kit (HASport), a wiring harness, and a conversion kit to go from cable to hydraulic operated clutch. As far as wiring, the speedometer goes, I am not sure. The CRX is cable driven the R is not. But to get it running and bolted in, you need all the above. It can be done. Its all a matter of how.
the tranny part isnt as tricky as the OBD 2 to OBD 0 conversion...........IM TBONE....got any pix of your rex? or a site that tells how you did it? i am going to do this swap on my GF's rex and i would rather do it all myself then take it to some shop who will charge me a shitload to do the wiring..........
