splice your pressure switch to your solenoid wire and then disconnect the pressure switch plug
most jdm motors dont have this and this is how it is done
it wont throw a check engine code and it will go into high cam.
the switch is really pointless because it makes sure there is enough oil to go into vtec but it uses oil pressure to go into high cam anyways so it cant go if there isnt enough pressure so its useless really.
but thats a good way to fix it. i did the same thing last weekend
no problems at all.

Do what the above said, but I wired one into mine even though it was a JDM piece w/o one. I'd rather have the safety measure in case the oil pressure is low. I am paranoid with my cars, and a maintenance *****, but I love having it there.

I had trouble with it one time and it turned out to be that the wires for the oil pressure switch were reversed. it fixed it for me. or like they said maybe the sensor it self is bad

dont waste money on the sensor.
get rid of it.
theres a black wire that is the ground and the other (idk what color) that is the signal wire.
splice it into your vtec solenoid wire, then unplug the pressure sensor plug and leave it hangin or remove it completly.
badda bing, pressure switch problem solved.
if the issue is still there, then idk what the problem is.
