CRV rad in a delSol?

CRV rad in a delSol?
Just got a FREE crv radiator from a friend and thinking about using it to cool my delSol (right now half rad single core). The question is though, it is for an automatic,,, can I just plug the trans holes, and make a bracket to support the rad?? Last thing is the top hose connects in the middle of the full sized rad, not the passenger side. HELP, is it just too much work or?? Keep in mind I wouldnt be asking if it werent free
