Default couple problems after swap??

swapped an OBD2 b18b into my 97 hatch, running an OBD1 b18b ecu with a jumper harness.

I have a low idle - and the intake sounds like its going to suck in every last drop of air on the planet ...the car also drops to abour 100 or 200rpms when I let off the gas and put it in neutral, then quickly jumps back up to about 500rpm (where it has been idling at) I have cleaned the IACV and still same problem, I am thinking that there is a vacuum leak somewhere due to the obnoxious noise the intake is making at idle??

#2 - My headlights and gauge cluster get brighter when I give the car gas it happens at about 3k rpms, and then they dim back down when I let off or brake etc ... could this be because of the low idle? the alternator and battery have been checked and they were both in great working condition .... bad ground somewhere? any suggestions?

thanks in advance

No CEL's, some people said the alternator could cause both problems, but I have had it checked and it was in good working condition as well as the battery ...

bump for some answers - I will be replacing the alternator this weekend to fix the headlight problem, regardless of the local shop telling me its ok, I have done everything I can and it isnt fixing anything (checked all grounds etc ...)

as for the idle issue, can a bad 02 sensor cause the problem? Im gonna look into it

the idle adjustment screw is up, it didnt fix anything, I tried turning it up with the IACV unplugged like it says to and it still doesnt fix anything.

if the car stalls when the IACV is unplugged does that mean the IACV is bad altogether?
