this guy from import builders told me i dont need to sleeve when running 12.8 compression as long as i run race fuel to not detonate. i want to run 91 octane so he goes u can do that on 12.5 but i dont want o risk it so im gonna do about 12.1 with 91 how does that sound to you guys. also does anyone of u know if a company makes 2 layer head gaskets for a b20 block

you only have to sleeve for one of 2 things:
1. you exceed the bore that the stock sleeves can support
2. you exceed the HP that the stock sleeves can withstand

Yeah out in cali we only have 91 octane, it sucks. Im going to keep my compression below 12 so it should be all good.

12:1 should be still safe on 91 octane.

I beleive the Celica GTS run a 11:5:1 c/r so 12:1 shouldn't be pushing it that much on 91
