Default Code: 7 - Throttle Positioning Sensor...Why?

I just put a B16A1 into my EG and I have a check engine light. I jumped the wires to check the code and code 7 shows up 3 times in a row. I am using my DX TPS for the motor, could my lack of fuel be the cause of this code?

No. make SURE you allinged the teeth on the TPS up with the tooth on the throttle body.
i broke my tps dropping my engine in (stupid ******* place to put a sensor) and from honda. its upwards of 450$ because you need a new throttle body.

If you broke your sensor by dropping in your motor, then is it a better idea to lower the car onto the motor?

No, it is a better idea to remove the throttle body before removing the engine.

D1ancer, make sure the TPS is adjusted properly. The sensor output should read .5 volts with the ignition switch on and the throttle closed.
