mid to high 13's on street tires and high 12's - 13.00 slicks. depends on driver, clutch, tuning, etc......

im just wondering where you got mid to high 13,s,sport compact car tested one a while ago and said it was a little slower then an itr and it runs 0-60 in 7.0 seconds,im just wondering how you came up with that cause maybe ill get a civiv type r engine instead of an h22

No way on this green earth is an EK with just a B16B going to do anywhere near a 13. Much less a 12.

Very possible if dyno tuned and running in a 2000 lb. car!!!!You all are forgetting the weight factor on this. 175 whp (net) will get you 12's in a 2000 lb. car, so mid to high 13's not impossible but you gotta spank that bi---...

yeah, around 14.7-8 or so. Torque is crucial. Anyways, CTRs are meant for road, not drag.

CTR is high 14 second car ....on the best motoring videos CTR pulled few 14.8/15.0/15.1/ passes, thats in JDM land where its higher above the sea level...maybe a mid-14 sec is possible.....with bolt ons definatly (JDM 4-1 header, AEM, exhaust...)

the motor pulls 153-158 whp.....and about 105-8lb/ft of torque (thats to the wheels)...in a 96+ h-back this combo witthout the driver will weight about 2300-2400 add about 170 for average driver.....so noway you can do 13's or even low 14's.....

also since the price is the same as for ITR b18c motor, i recommend that....forget about being cool and braging about CTRs....unless you want to get a GSR/ITR crank and rods....then it would be cool, then you can claim its a 1.6l....

but the power which is made by a b16b is the same as my b16a with only header, exhaust, drop in filter and mugen chipped ecu....the rest is stock....

what I meant was building a b16a into a ctr (sorry) so I did not intend to spend a lot of money on the engine ($3500?) not 6-7 g's Plus it helps that i am part owner of a tuner shop and we have been looking into different places to get motors.

even so...I'd only think mid to low 14s on street tires.
