Chipped ECU?
just planning things out for any swap i might end up getting and i know i need a chipped ecu.
what's better to get, p28 or p72? who do you reconmend to send it out to get it chipped?
not sure on what motor i want yet, its either going to be a obd1 gsr or prelude swap (h22a).my car is a obd2 civic. i know im going to need the conversion harness and rewire it and all.
also if i just get it chipped with a basemap, would i need to do anything else, just plug it in and thats it? do still need to get tuned?

Why not just get the ecu that matches the motor? Its just as easy.</TD></TR></TABLE>
agreed.
Personally I'd get an OEM ECU that runs the car perfectly so it's one less thing to worry about with the swap.
You can always chip the ECU later.
