i put a jdm b18c1 in my 92 civic si and used my civic motor harness on the gsr motor cause the wires were reversed.i plugged all the wires in and everything went fine,and i went to start the car and at first it started right up/ but after that everytime i try to start it i jsu let it turn over for a couple minutes and nothing then after it sits for a couple minutes it starts up.i havent hooked up the knock sensor yet or any other wires cuold that be the problem or does it sound like something else.i kno i should hook the wires up first and then ask but i figured i would now since im here

 

pretty hard with what you gave us, but first off the knock sensor wont affect the starting of your car. secondly what wires arent plugged in? plug those up and see what happens. check ground,fuel and spark.
