Which B20 are you talking about? Older prelude (crap) or a CRV B20?

CRV B20 = Slap that B16 head on it.. CR/VTECs are great engines if built properly.

Don't build one if you want to rev the **** out of it. A B20VTEC is a great road racing motor because you get almost immediate torque response everywhere in the powerband. A B18B is probably more up your alley if you have to ask this question in the first place.

get any b20 crv block if your gonna run the block sock look for a b20z because that has 9-5 compression instead of the 8-8 b20b..throw a b16 head since they flow better then a gsr stock but change the cams to maybe ctr or gsr.if you have the money install those new rs machine itr style pistons they came out with for the b20 block.youll make upto 200 whp easy with those pistons.

B20 is ****, go with a B18B, the 6 or 7 lbs or torque and some can be gained with mild head work intake, exhaust and retuning.

imo, the B18 is far more stout

Go ahead and use the B20. All motor the extra torque will help. If you were going to boost it, I 'd say B18 all day long. The sleeves are what makes the difference.

Anyone got a price for the ITR style b20 pistons?

J ust sleeve the bottom end and get aftermarket rods or at least arp rod bolts and you should have no problem reving high. Theres no replacment for displacment

Depends.. boost or no boost? If boost, b20 is expensive, as it needs to be sleeved and rebuilt. If yer heading all-motor, slap a vtec head on and yer set for a long time - with all the low end b20 benefits and the vtec high end. But the boost thing is serious.. if you're gonna go stock and boost, I read that beyond 6psi is a horrendous idea. So.. if boost desired, grab a b18a or b18b. The right people can find 'em in good shape for $50.
