so my JDM ITR motor blew up and im thinking about using a B20b longblock in its place so i can still drive around...
my question is, will parts from my type r fit the b20.. ie intake manifold, header..etc..

your intake manifold will not...i am currenlty using B16 header, so i can say yes on your header as well...

are you going to use a straight b20? or slap vtec on it?

 

im just going to use the b20 as a "beater motor" till im donw building my R. im using this situation to do a FI build..

 

nothing will fit from the vtec series.
only b20 and b18b

 

another question... what ecu are you b20 guys using? should i just use a p75? im already wired for obd1 . what year p75 is the obd 1 version?

also heres what im working with at the moment..
99 crvmotor
99 si wire harness converted to obd1 (made to use on B18c-R)

everything else i currently have is for my R motor.. im getting a P75 from a friend.
im assuming everything will drop in and i wont have to do much at all.
please correct me if im wrong.

also ive been reading that the p75 runs lean as hell, if it starts up at all. what fuel management do you guys suggest. im assuming that i cant use my vafc.

 

anyone , any help at all?

another question. do LS head parts.. ie cams, springs fit the B20?
