I am putting a b20 in my 2000 civic dx... with ls axles and tranny.. stock dx ecu ... i am wanting to swap the headers out for better flowing ones... do any b-series headers fit..? I know someone selling a gsr header... will that fit?

 

A friend of mine had a b20z in his hatch and he ran a JDM b16a1 header and it fit well. I wouldn't see why the gsr header wouldn't fit.

 

any header that fits car ( meaning the lower flange section is the same length that is needed ) will work with that motor..Pretty much all b series headers are interchangeable..

 

I have a Brand new DC JDM 4-1 Ceramic header. $300 Located in Naples Fl

 

ANY B-SERIES HEADER WILL FIT...however adjusting your cattalitic converter and cutting your exhaust will have to be done!!! (advise you to get a test pipe so you wont have to cut anything)

I don't know that any B-sries header will fit. But I can tell you that any LS header will fit a non-VTEC B20 and a 1994+ GSR header will fit a B20-VTEC.

 

i am POSITIVE any b-series header will fit...gsr, type r, ls, b16 dont matter all have the same bolt configuration on the flange!!!

 

nope...

MOST of the 4-1 headers for a B16 WILL NOT fit a B18 or B20...without directly pushing into the oil pan (~8mm difference)

they all have the same bolt configuration though...

EXACTLY RIGHT. I found this out the hard way.

 

Aren't the 2001 GSR hearders bolt pattern different from previous years??? Thats what i have heard.
