Default b18c1 to b16a2

i recently bent the valves in my b18c1 , and i have a good price on a b16a2 can i use the cams and block of gsr engine on a b16 head, and will it bolt right up or do i need to run oil lines ect

any ideas of gains/losses ect

Bolt right up, I've seen great numbers running poor man type r - BTW, that's what the hippsters call that engine setup - b16 + b18c1 bottem end...

most people bump the compression for it to make any real numbers. by adding the stock b16 head to the stock gsr block your gonna get lower compression numbers but it should work just fine if you dont mind.

Is this Ruthless that used to drive the black civic coupe that took auto shop at BHS? Just curious, sorry to high jack the thread...

nope different ruthless. i go to JHS. drive a gunmetal 96 hatch. its outa commision right now.

so what exactly is involved in going from 99ls b18 head 96 b16a2 head what doe u need 2 connect what exact parts do u need to make everything work w/o throwing a cel
