Helping a friend out, he has a DA9 and he wants to do a B18c swap, he keeps telling me that he needs new engine mout cause it's a different engine and I told him that he doesn't because it's just another b18 from Japan or something like that, so who is right me or him??

 

He can reuse the mounts, he just needs to use the post mount off of his current b motor

 

Isn't the cable transmission mounted differently?

Is he doing a full swap? Or just the longblock? He has to re-use the DA mounts and brackets and bolt them onto the B18C.
