Default B18B Trans question

forgive me, I dont know much about swaps. I'm asking this question for a friend...

in a nutshell, 94 Integra LS automatic tranny has a shot motor. A Manual Trans B18B for the same year has been located, friend wants to retain the automatic trans. Will the automatic trans bolt up to the manual trans'd B18B long block, I know and I'm sure this is stupid but like I said I really have no experience with doing swaps and dont plan on doing any in the near future, I'm inquiring for a friend.

also what is the difference between a JDM LS (B18B) motor and USDM? thanks

yes it will bolt up...just take the swap off the clutch assembly/flywheel assembly if it had one on, then swap the flex plate over from the old motor using the bolts that came off the auto motor as well. To be safe, check if the rear main seal which sits behind the flex plate on the new motor you're using. If its leaking change it out as well.

change the seal anyways, cause chances are if its not leaking now, it WILL leak later

yes the auto tranny will fit on the 5speed longblock but you'll need the auto torque convetor and take off the 5speed clutch and pressure plate and should bolt up
