Default B18B to B18C5

I was reading an old honda tuner mag, and it said that this swap is easy as pie. I was just wondering how accurate that is considering the differences between the ls and the type r?? I really want to do this swap, but right now i am low on money, so i was gonna buy my i/h/e and then do the swap when i find some cash. But, will i have to replace all of the stuff i just bought if i do decide to go with the b18c5?? Would i be better off saving the money for the engine, and just gettin higher cr pistons and stuff like that to kind of duplicate the c5 without the vtec?? Sorry for the long post but i dont know what to do!!!

The blocks are too different. The best you can do with a B18B is a LS/VTEC. Which can make more power then a stock Type R with the right tuning and internals.
