Default ls blocks

hey guys i've been a long reader of HT but recently accuired a SI and i'm want to do lsvtec on it.

my main goal is turbo probably 350-400 whp in the end and wondering what setup i should continue with i just got a b18a block and alot of people are saying stick with the b16 head and run that and i've had a few others say go with a gsr head? Anyway what would you all recommend doing to the block before dropping it in? new pistons/rods crank? stroke it to 2l? thanks for the feedback guys

if you're shooting for300+ hp you will want to sleeve it, and therefore you mine as well go for 84-89mm while you're at it. then get some pistons and rods, balance it all and throw it together. keep the b16 head, get a port-n-polish job, some gsr cams, type r springs and retainer(or aftermarket) and then some decent fuel management and you'll easily be able to hold 20psi and that will put you way over 300+. It all comes down to money, just with the stuff i mentioned you will be at over $3,000.
