b16a2 motor mount question

Default b16a2 motor mount question

ive got a 1994 civic si hatch. i just bought a b16a2 motor and trans.ive heard that the sohc mounts on the si version hatch will work with a dohc b16 motor. my question is.....is this true? has anyone tried it? thanks for the help!

you cant use the si mounts except for the tranny mount and the front two rubber mounts.....you have to use the b16 rear mount, timing belt mount, and the front brackets for the front mounts.

side note: actually, you use just the rear bracket, you dont' need to change the mount itself on the car.
