I am thinking about putting a JDM b16a2 into a 2000 ex civic. The engine does not have a air compressor. Can I use my d16y8 air conditioning on the b16a2 engine??

 

yep, its easy. If you're buying a USDM B16a2, with the compressor bracket it may allow fir your compressor.

If you don't have the compressor bracket, check what model your a/c compressor is (i.e. Nippon Denso, Sanden...) . Then find a compressor bracket for a del sol vtec from Honda that matches your compressor model.
