im putting an obd2 b16a in a 2000 ex using a '00 si ecu and the stock 2000ex wiring harness, the problem is with the distributor plug. the b16a has 9 wires and the d16 distributor plug only has 8. what is the 9th wire and how do i wire in this distributor?

 

I think we're pretty much fucked with figuring this problem out.

 

Pick up a 2000 SI Wiring Harness. $100.

 

what if you just wanted to rewire the distributor plug. somebody has had to have done it before.

 

Then get the proper plug off of a the SI harness, the SI ECU pinout from a helms, and wire it up.

 

yeah, Just get a helms for both the SI and EX and find the missing wire.
