Default b16 swap question (trans)

Hey.

Putting a b16 into my hatch, i've gotten an sir II from japan with no tranny. Got myself an ls tranny and had it rebuilt. now I've got integra axles and am looking into my halfshafts.

which halfshafts would be best to use in this setup. * again: b16 block with ls tranny*?

any help will be much appreciated you guys.

If i were you, i'd seriously reconsider using a better tranny, especially with a B16. Such tall gears on a LS tranny will make the B16 feel really gutless unless your running boost. Also, non vtec trannies don't keep you in the vtec mode when shifting from one gear to another. With any b series tranny on the EF chassis, you are pretty safe using 90-93 intermediate and drive shafts.
If you have a Gen II B16, are you planning on doing a OBDI conversion?

I plan to boost long term.... thats the reason for the ls tranny.

can i use 94+ halfshafts with 90-93 axles???

yes I do plan on converting. have a dizzy and injectors lined up already.

what else is involved with the conversion?

If you use a 94+ half-shaft, you need to use 94+ axles, vice-versa with 90-93 Teg axles and half-shaft.

What OBD are you going with and into which year car? Pretty much the ECU, distributor and injectors are the main components to which a certain OBD would be important. Most other sensors and parts are compatible across all years.

well i'm going to be using an obd0 zdyne one-wire ecu.
I've got an obd0 dizzy getting rebuilt with a new bearing. the guy doing my swap is giving me a set of injectors.

how does this look so far?
Sorry to be a pain but this is my first real honda tuning ordeal.

Thanks for all the help up to now.
Anyone have any other tips/suggestions as to make the swap go smoother?

sean, I think the # of splines is the same for both. you should be alright using the 94+ halfshafts with the 90-93 tranny.

i'm willing to bet i'll be corrected promptly if i'm wrong at all. These guys know their stuff
