Axle Won't Fully Slide In

CRX with B18a1 OBD1 engine swap. I can't get the driver side axle to slide in. I bought a 93 Integra axle. It fits partially but won't go fully in. Tried taking the C clip off, same thing. Other one went in without an issue and I've tried for a while it just won't go. Could I have the wrong intermediate shaft? Only thing I can think, not sure if a later int shaft would be close enough to fit but not slide in fully though. Let me know what you think, thanks

Make sure that your driver side axle has splines going all the way down the shaft. I bought a "driver side" axle and was given a passenger side axle. The passenger side's splines only go half way to form the sealing surface for the axle seal.

You're right, that's what happened. Thank you, I'd never of figured it out
