Has anyone got any pics or info on that AWD Civic that was floating around awhile back. I think it was some kind of CRV Civic hybrid. Seems pretty interesting.

For what it's worth, my buddy sent me some pics of a black AWD CRX. I'll try to get the link to the page the pics were on. It was pretty interesting.

Hmmm... This gives some ideas for my RWD DC project. I wonder how much load/hp the CRV AWD tranny can handle....

I wouldn't be as worried about the transmission as I would about the rear end. It must be a 3" ring gear, absolutely puny. The viscous coupling would help dampen some of the shock of the torque if you had a serious turbo car, but it still wouldn't last very long.

You might could try an S2000 rear end or maybe even the Honda Pilot rear end, those are both probably big enough to handle 50% of a decent turbo setup.

it would have to be custom axels anyway so put whatever rear you feel you like on there

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Imagine running an AWD CRV transmission bolted to a Ford/Jaguar IRS 9" rear end

You could keep the orignal position of the B series motor, but be able to run a RWD or AWD set-up
