I'm about to pick up a JDM H22A longblock for $1500 with ecu and everything else, but the thing is that is coming from an automatic. I was wondering if the JDM automatic H22A is the same as the 5speed 200hp, 161 ft.lbs. torque monster engine.. but just with an automatic tranny. TIA... btw, I already did a search.

 

the engines for an auto and man are indistinguishable, (obviously if your gonna use the automatic tranny your probably won't be getting as much torque off the line as the 5 spd).
