Default 97 ek hatchback

ALL STOCK AUTOMATIC EK HATCHBACK !

i bought this all stock auto 97 ek hatchback in florida ,
and figured if i tuned up everything including the axels
and temp sensers etc it would make it to arizona .
well it ran great all the way untill we hit arizona
when my motor blew up or something in the engine blew up .
so now my poor car is sitting in the arizona
hot heat untill i have enough money and can
actually decide on what i want to do a swap .
now i need some opinions on what motor i should
choose to swap into my ek . ive done some thinking
and i want to go b series but get two heads .
ill be building one from scratch and keeping the
other one stock to daily drive on while i build it .
i need some ideas because i really can not decide .
i want to be making atmost 230 all motor maybe a GSR ?
helppppp . thanks !

It just won't be as easy with a GSR as it would be with a K or H. No one said it couldn't be done.

IMO, grab yourself a full b20 motor and make sure it's in tip top shape. Daily that while you build your B16/GSR head. Once done with said head, install, tune, beer, enjoy your 230whp.
