wait, wait, wait... Before you sart yelling at me, I already searched for this. I spent a half hour typing in everything i could think of, and came up with nothing. Anyways... I just want some info, maybe an article on the swap. From what i understand, its a bolt in with light mount mods. Then something with wiring, but i'm not sure what. The engine is from an 87 ls. 1.6 DOHC D16a1. Its goin into an 86 civic si hatch. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to getting this done before summer is over and I go to college.

don't know much about this swap, but my question would be is the 86 si fuel injected? if it is then at least the fuel set up would be easier. What does the 86 civic si weigh? Either way, good luck- sounds like a fun project if you have the patience

 

Both are fuel injected, and the civic si is 400 lbs lighter.

Call hasport. They recently has an article in superstreet or one of the maags with this swap done. Pretty straight forward...
