My friend just took off his supercharger. Now he's left with a 2000 b16 manifold.

On the supercharger, the IAT is located on the manifold, on the 2000 b16, the IAT is located somewhere else. Does he need to tap into the manifold and install the IAT, or what?

Suggestions please.

 

the IAT should be on the intake runner on cyl 1.

Isn't the IAT on the intake tube on obd 2 cars? Or is that another sensor and i'm gonna look like a *** again

 

no , you're totally right
i forgot they put them in the intake tube on OBD II , unless they have both....

I always forget the little things between OBD I/II

 

Have Brad extend the wires and stick the iat in the intake. B16a intake manifolds are a dime a dozen though, just look around for one and mabye trade someone for an obd1 manifold.
