holy cow! thats insane. I pay $680/year (about $55 a month) for full coverage from AAA. I'm sure it would be more if it was my only car - but i have a big multicar discount.

i don't nkow about "weekend insurance" per se, but you can claim the s2k to be a "pleasure vehicle," which i put my EVO as when i had a CRX as my dd. that saved me only about 300 bucks a year though.

A little over a year ago there was a new cop and he would pull me over all the time. And the court house wouldn't do anything about it. So finally we had to get a lawyer. But it was just constant bullshit. It was a horrible summer that year.

533/6 ($89/month) months on my 2004.
100K/300K/50K
full coverage, uninsured insurance (if an uninsured hits me I am covered), towing, rental car, 500 deduct, etc.

29, male, no tickets in 6 years, no accidents.

Then again my condo insurance is about 4,000/year due to hurricanes.

This is with Allstate- in their top driver program.

hmm how did I not see this thread before...

I've only had the S since march 2007 and here have been my rates so far:

March through August - $126.50 per month

September till present - $106.00 per month
----
I'm a single 22yr old male. Only discount is from having a good driving record.
Full coverage, no tickets (LOTS of verbal warnings though hahahah), no my-fault accidents.

I've been with Geico these past 9 months, but typically I switch companies every 6 months because 99% of the time somebody else can offer a better rate by then.

its pretty cool to see 21-22 year olds with s2000's, im thinking about getting one next summer and i was wondering what my insurance would be like but i only got 1 ticket and that was like 4 years ago and no accidents so i think my insurace should be about $110 monthly (hopefully)
