where in SD? my so cal rate in LA for my evo (which was pretty much the same insurance as an s2k last time i checked) is twice that with wawanesa. i'm also a couple years older than you and i have a perfect driving record.

Well, I think the reason is because I have joint insurance with my girl and the fact that I get somewhat discounted lol

That is still $1200 a year, when I am paying $1060 a year
OBSeRiouSo although working for an insurance company is paying $750/$970 a year

So either he or I are in first.

I didn't mention this earlier but my name is on the title of my car and my insurance.
Paid for my own car *cough* 93civic_sedan
I am 20, have -3 points down from +3 because of a Reckless (6 Point ticket).
Just had to make a huge claim too, because my Turbo Integra was stolen.

I need to shop for new insurance policies this weekend. 182.00 through State Farm. Compared to others, it's not that bad. I know I can find better though.

This is true. They rate it according to the "worst" driving record on the policy.

im 21, and my insurance is 140 a month. Car is under my name.

also im with USAA
