Default S2000 Vtec Failure P1259

Any help with trouble shooting Vtec failure code? I’m thinking it’s the stripped wiring, should I get a whole new solenoid with a new harness? Any ideas on how to fix?? (See images)

Your Solenoid appears to be fine... the problem is the broken wire at the VTEC Pressure Switch. I would cut the wires back a bit from the original grey plug in your photo and graft on a replacement plug so the wire connection junction is not right at the plug, but a few inches back from it. This plug is used commonly in many different Honda/Acura engine applications, so you can cut one from a donor/parts engine harness from your local pick-a-part.
