Default ...s2000 all motor mods needs help

...i have a 01 s2000 and am plaining on installing a Comptech supercharger...but i also wanted to do some engine work...so far i only have

AEM cold air intake
Comptech headers
5Zigen dual fireball exhaust

...i wanted to bore out my throttle body....and install new camshafts...to my disappointment, Spoon said they no longer plan on making S2000 camshafts...now what camshafts can i go with??...and what else can i do to beef up my engine??

You should put all your questions into one post. It will make it easier for people to answer

me too??? first off, you need to know pretty much what you want to do with your setup..because, if your gonna put sc on the car, that aem you just bought was just a waste.. also the cams that you are thinking about, a waste..

I think hes asking about internals, in that case, other than reinforcing the engine theres not much you can do, its just about at its full capability from the factory. The Mugen s2k actually lost horsepower with all the mods that were don't to it, it dynoed at 2 hp less than factory. I would suggest investing money in the differential before any hardcore internals, the diff is the s2ks weakest link. Other than that, you can always do sleeves to strengthen and pistons to lower compression, etc.

Getting a higher lift or longer duration cam has nothing to do with reinforcing your motor not to mention it’s a horrible idea if you plan to Supercharge your car.

Maybe you should do a little more research on cars in general and on how a motor operates before spending money on "stuff that looks cool in magazines".

use the stock camshafts, get the Toda adj cam pulleys to take out some overlap (good for forced induction), install a thicker headgasket if you're not upgrading pistons to low compression, invest in an AEM EMS ... if you upgrade pistons and rods, get at least a 9:1 compression dished piston.

You shouldn't need internals if you're just going to run the bolt on Comptech kit. If anything you may want to look into a custom header and some headwork a stand alone (AEM, MoTec, ect.) wouldn't be a bad idea either.

if you are going to get headwork on it make sure that you goto a good guy that has a flow bencjh becuase i have been told that those heads are pretty much tweaked to perfect. you don't want to take to much out and end up losing hp

just leave the head stock for now since the head already flows REALLY well from the factory. plus if you have your heads ported for a FI setup and you plan to go allmotor then you are at a loss. i never had done FI setups on the f22. but ive had experience on FI with B series motors. you can just focus on your bottom end then leave the head last.

FI on an F22? I havent even seen one either. So much R&D and prototyping goes into the F20. Sorry, I'm just an '04 owner who's itching for parts. The only thing I've come upon is an AEM CAI and misc. chassis parts.
