you can't use manuel tranny grade oil in the diff, you need to use a gear oil, a 75w90 for example.

i just say use the regular honda tranny fluid....i messed around with various tranny fluids...and they all have there up and downs....pretty much all oils suck *** during the winter...every oil when new is great...for this car i feel that u must change the tranny oil very 2 oil changes or every 5k miles...also oem stuff is way cheaper then getting amsoil or the other brands...i jsut say stick to the oem stuff and change it more frequently
the s2l tranny varies greatly...many of us like myslef have the 1-2 or 2-3 grind/ nothcy feeling...it is very common and its is annoying as hell...depending on what oil is used your tranny will react differently
tranny oil's that ive used:
GM modified synchromesh <---- broke down very quickly...not so good in hot hot weather..when new thought the tranny shifted smooth as butter!!
honda tranny <----- well rounded...but def sucks *** in cold weather..i mean NJ/NY winters...and if u r running laps on the track...it will break down quick...
redline mt-90 <------good for the track usage or beating on the car on long perios of time...def not something u would use in the winter!!! u will never get into gear...haha...at least i couldnt...NJ winters suck ***!!
