I once read that the F20c share some similar characteristics as the K series engines. I didn't do further research because of the time I have on my hands, which is why i'm just going to ask this question bluntly:

Is it possible to swap a k24 longblock into an s2000?

 

Possible? Anything is possible with time and money...

Well for starters you have to do:

-buy a k24 complete longblock
-fab a custom adapter plate and flywheel spacer.
-fab custom mounts.
-fab custom intake manifold or itb's (K-Series manifold face the wrong direction)
-not sure of the wiring and the difference between i'vtec and regular vtec.
-k-series ecu or aftermarket, k-pro, aem, etc...
-fab a custom header

For that amount of money invested you could build the f20 to be 2.4 liters or bigger and make more power. Hope that helps.

 

Supposedly the F20C head bolts on to a K series block. Might be wrong, this is just what I remember from ClubRSX. Some people were talking about doing it.

Needs a bit of custom fabrication, but it can be done.
