Default exhaust

i'm a new poster and a soon to be s2k owner. my first question i have for you guys is.... after reading up on the exhausts that are avail. for my s which is the best in your opinion? hks, comptech, amuse, spoon, mugen, invidia, spugen?, and anything else i may have missed. also is there any advange to going single exhaust outlet vs the stock dual? or is that just a personal pref., however i'm aware that the single is less weight but are there any other advantages? any help would be greatfull.

thanks for your time,
the soon the be owner of a white s2k

the best exhaust is the one that sounds best to you.

The S has a good exhuast already, though. The advantage to single is weight really. Otherwise duals do provide more flow, but there is already an overabundance of that.

I'VE READ THAT SOME COMPANY'S TRIED TO DEVELOP AN EXHAUST FOR THE S AND JUST COULDN'T GET GOOD ENOUGH GAINS OUT OF THEM VS THE STOCK ONE.

This topic has been covered several times in this forum. Please search and post to an existing thread. I don't see anything new being asked here.

Like JMS JT said, search is your friend. IMO I'd go single. Weight savings and better performance.

LIKE I SAID I'M NEW TO THIS, PLUS IF RESPOND TO AN OLD THREAD MY QUESTION AT HAND WILL BE OVERLOOKED. ALSO MOST PEOPLE HERE DON'T SEEM TO ANSWER THE QUESTION AT HAND. I CAN GIVE A BEAT AROUND THE BUSH ANSWER TO MY SELF. SIMPLY ASKING AN OPINION HARDLY SEEMS TO BE HURTFULL. I FIGURED PEOPLE WHO WOULD ANSWER WOULD LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE AND IF THEY NOTICED ANYTHING OR WISHED THEY WENT WITH A DIFFERENT EXHAUST. SORRY IF THIS POST SEEMS LIKE AND ATTACK, KEEP IN MIND I'M A NEWBIE TO THIS BOARD, OR SITE FOR THAT MATTER. SO I DIDN'T THINK ASKING A QUESTION WOULD CAUSE ANYONE TO GET ALL UPSET.

here's a start, there's a key to the left of the "A" button, it turns on and off your caps lock and a light typically on your keyboard indicates the status of the caps lock. Press the caps lock button repeatedly until that light is off on your keyboard. Then at the very top right corner of the web page, there is a search link, click on it and type in the field "caps lock" to see what kind of other threads come up in the search and you'll understand why no one will help you.

Well, almost any aftermarket exhaust you put on the S2K is gonna be somewhat "loud", especially compared to stock. The mufflers/canisters are usually bigger and more visible. I'd rather have one single "FART CAN" than dual "FART CANS".

Who said the answer is hurtful? The topic just has been talked about over and over. You would find MORE useful information if you learned how to search.

It's obvious to me you don't own an S2000.

The single pipes are noticeably louder and fartier.

You are right. I am a wanna-be S2K owner.

You are right, the single pipe is louder. I just stated that IMO I'd rather go single outlet. There are some loud dual setups; Invidia and dual Tanabe Racing Medallion fartcans aren't exactly quiet..
