Any One who has an S2000 as a daily driver??????
i like it either way. top down is definately more fun, but i usually drive with the top up - 'cause i get dark in the sun.
The only time I don't drive it everyday is in the winter, I bought a beater car because I don't feel comfortable driving it in the snow plus if I need to haul something. My insurance went down $900/year by getting a winter car, can't complain about that.
Is the S2000 too small for a daily driver???? How uncomfortable is it for a road trip??? Thanks
I drive to work everyday but I'm only 10 min. away, so it really doesn't matter to me. But if I wanna take the baby with me to Vegas, I'd think twice. I just can't imagine how bad my back would hurt after 4 hrs. of sitting in that bucket seat.....
BTW the road that stretches from LA to Vegas can get very icy and snowed-on. For a car that has no TCS and the boredom of long trip (which makes the driver vveerryy sleepy), and the noise of the engine at 4000rpm+ that drowns out the underpowered stock stereo speakers, esp. when the top is DOWN can not only get on your nerves but also get you in some serious safety hazards when you combine the less-than-perfect road conditions, no TCS, and droopy eyelids.....
But the car's totally perfect for tracking and daily zipping in and out of local traffic and the bucket seats are very F-1 racecar-inspring!! That's what I get it for..... On long trips I'd either take my Grand Caravan or borrow my mom's Jag S-type

So IMO get the car for sporting purpose only. Drive something else bigger and more comfy for that long trip......
