Default Wow, this is irritating!!

93 obd1 jdmh22...For some strange reason my car will turn over and then just shut itself off. It has been an intermittent problem for awhile mainly b/c I would just push around the dist. until the car would finally start. I eventually found out there was a bolt missing from the dist., and i replaced it. The car ran fine for a week and now it hasnt moved for a couple days and im so angry. I kno it has to be an ignition problem. Alternator is fine, battery is charged, new spark plugs, nology hot wires r 1 1/2yrs old(didnt think they would need replacing). I am completely stumped and do not kno what to do. New distributor or just a cap and rotor? Such an intermittent problem so makes me think its just a loose connection possibly? Plz guys, i need your help!!!!!

it might be the electical part of the ignition switch i had the problem about 2 months ago. If you search you should be able to find something on the site I did when i had my problem.

Have you pulled the dist. cap off, the rotor button may be gone, sometimes the screw that holds the button on will back itself out

the main relay usually is intermittent, i'd replace that first. I had the same problem and replacing it fixed my problem

coil/igniter? i say get to testing because you can throw $200-$300 in parts at this thing and get nowhere if you're not sure where to go...
