got pulled over the other night for illegal tints. i look at the ticket the next day and it says side windows, i looked up the ny state law and it says the side windows have to b at 70%. does that mean the lil port holes also or jus the driver and passenger windows?

 

No. When i get a state inspection in Delaware...I only take off the side windows...and leave the rear and quater panel windows. They leave you alone then.

i am from ny state and it is strick but you ca have your back windows as dark as you want and no tint for your windsheild but the front can be like 55% the lower the darker. my mom got pulled over and all she did was take her 35% tint off the driver side and that was it...

 

Your 3 rear windows can be as dark as your want, but your driverside and passangerside windows have to be legal.....
