I wanted to know if the H23 DOHC Vtec engine parts and the H22 prelude are the same? Can i use performance parts such as skunk 2 cams for the H22 on the h23 or do i have to find h23 performance parts.

 

for the H22 head use H22 parts, for the block use H23 parts. If you buy H23 cams you will not have vtec and i dont think they will fit in the h22 head, but if you get cams make sure your valve to piston clearance is good, I blew my motor for not cheaking...

 

Cams are deffinayely different and are not interchangeable. The bare blocks are the same and alot of those components interchange but everything to do with the cylinder head is going to be different.
