Yes it will fit just fine.It is a killer combo too.You will need to do a few things to ensure proper fit.

Don't forget that if you do it, you are also going to need the VTEC ECU, Tranny, and distributer for it to work properly.

why would you need a vtec tranny??? yes you will need the ecu.. but not the tranny. this swap is not as easy as it sounds. i believe you have to drill into the engine block to get the oil passages to line up... its a big hassle, better off swapping in a h22, unless you own a shop or have lots of $$... personally i would just throw a turbo on the h23....

The Si tranny will fit. It sits on the Si block. *duh*

You need to modify stuff to make the head fit, and you won't have the VTEC's redline.

there is a post from someone else on this too, don't do it, it's a lot of hassle, and it's not reliable. In theory, it would be a kickass engine, but it's not., try to find an h22 if you can find the japanese spec, that'd be really good 200hp 161torque
quoteaccord15"The usdm h22a1 has 190 hp and 158 lb with a 10:1 compressions ratio the jdm has a 10.6:1 compression ratio with 200 hp and 161 lb. The only differences are caused by the compression ratios. It is much easier to find a jdm motor for a reasonable price than a usdm" he knows a little more than I on this subjects, talk to him, if you want this engine, talk to Prodigy 2.2 EK

yes its possible. My friend did it on his prelude. His timing belt broke and the head got messed up so he figure he'll just put on the H22 head. He also got it port/polished. It works and runs great. But i dont think its worth the trouble.
