Default VTEC problems!!! Please Help.....

Okay...
I have not had vtec since I swapped in my JDM H22. I ran tests, and swapped vtec solenoids, pressure swithc, and ECU, to no avail. So... I took it to a shop, and they said my oil pressure was bad. so...I rebuilt the motor, with a shimmed oil pump. After breaking in the motor I STILL have no vtec. I have tried a different ECU, and still nothing. I tested my solenoid with a multimeter and everything is in spec. I am now doing the vtec oil pressure tests, the one where you plug it into the front of thead to test. I have done the first part of it where it says test at RPMs of 1000, 3000, and 5000. It askes if the pressure is above 7psi, and it isn't on any RPM except 5000 where it jumps to 85psi. What does this mean? The Helms just makes it either yes to all of them or no to all of them. Now I am moving down the flow chart to where it says:
"Disconnect the 1P connector from the vtec solenoid valve." Attach battery positive terminal to the GRN/WHT terminal."
What is the GRN/WHT terminal? The vtec soenoid valve is a Green yellow wire....not green white....is this a typo? Or am I not seeing a wire? Even the Pressure switch wires aren't green/white. Can anyone help me? I hope so cause I have no idea what to do next.... Also if anyone can answer the questions in my post that would be great!
Thanks for your help...in advance

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated,

Josh
P.S I have tested all the wiring with a multimeter, and I have also rerun wires several times. I checked all the grounds completely as well....many timesJust in case. I know it isn't a wiring problem because I "hot wired" vtec, and it didn't switch over the cam lobes...So even if there is some other problem that rules out ALL except oil pressure, and grounds....Grounds are fine, and oil pressure appears to be fine, except for the weird occurances going on above. can anyone comment on my questions? I have swapped ECU's and that did nothing. I am lost on what to do next.... I need answers about the oil pressure question posted above..

Which ECU are you running? Any CEL codes? If so what are they?

Hey,
Thanks for the replies, but if you read through what I wrote...It says that I already checked all of those, and that even if a problem in those items, I can rule it out for now...due to the fact that when I feed VTEC a 12v signal, it still doesn't engage. When you give VTEC a 12V signal, it *should* engage because it is bypassing the ECU, and giving it a direct 12vb source. This is tested and works. I also need help with what helms is saying(which what it says is posted in my above post). Also I have used a p13 ECu, and still had troubles. When I run the stock computer there is no CEL. Now i am running hondata on a P28, and still no CEL. I just had the motor rebuilt, and just tested pressure normally and it is fine. I had a new oil pan and pick up put on too, and oil pump has been shimmed.
Thanks,
Josh

Hey,
Some new news....I was "hot wiring" vtec again today, for further helms testing. I found that when the car is STARTED with a 12v signal ALREADY fed to the vtec signal wire, that the car idles in Vtec. If I apply a 12v signal to the Vtec signal wire AFTER the car is already running, it won't work... Interesting...I am so lost now.....Any ideas?
Thanks,
Josh
