I recently took my car to my local tune shop, and my buddy said that my engine noise shouldn't be as loud as it was. He recommended a valve adjustment, and said that he could do it for $125. What exactly is done during a valve adjustment? Any information would be appreciated, also is this a good price or should i get it done at the Honda Dealer?

if you are mechanically inclined you can do the adjustment yourself i jsut recently did mine its so easy there is step by step so read that and it should make it very easy to do
o and another thing to know start off at #1 cylinder then 3, 4 and then 2 at each cylinder put it at TDC then do ur adjustment Good LUCk

Re: (OzWolfbane)
most honda motors start to click or tap (need valve adjustments) at about 90k.
$125 is reasonable.

mine had 95k miles on it and wen i did it they was all within spec say on the intake side .oo3 it was prolly .004 and some were .003 and on the exhaust .006 some were .007 . so i jsut went ahead and done it to the minimum clearance
