uberdata vs hondata.
did a search and couldnt find anythign helpful, but im gon aneed some fuel management soon and i thought i might as well go all out. the only reason im leaning towards hondata is because i can take it to a tuner to tune, but with uberdata i beleive i have to do it all myself? am i right?
uberdata is free..... you download the software... however you need a buner and a socketed ecu.... basically what you do is make a custom ECU just for your motor setup where as the hondata is constantly programable plus you have all the other hondata options

Um hondats use a similar EEPROM also which requires a chip burner, I don't see any differences, on the dyno they don't need to burn a new chip everytime they make a change because they use a romulator...

the diff is uberdata is freely available and supported by peopel who work on it in their own time, and requires you to do most of the work, while hondaata is a commercial solution. they both do pretty mcuh the same thing though...

Both of them have their ups and downs, hondata MIGHT be a little better, just because it's more commercialized (correct me if im wrong), but id go with uberdata, simply for the fact that i have a friend around here thats very experienced with it, and he does it basically for free!
Ugh, not another one of these threads......keep the uberdata vs. hondata argument in the forced induction forum and not wasting time in the prelude forum.....

No. Both are for not for n00bs and pretty much are recommended for professional tuning.
